DAVID ROTHENBERG
David Rothenberg wrote Why Birds Sing, Bug Music, and many other books. He has twenty-one CDs out, including One Dark Night I Left My Silent House on ECM, and Berlin Bülbul and Cool Spring. He has performed with Pauline Oliveros, Ray Phiri, Suzanne Vega, Iva Bittová, and the Karnataka College of Percussion. Rothenberg is Distinguished Professor at New Jersey Institute of Technology, and his latest books are Nightingales in Berlin and The Possibility of Reddish Green.
