JASPER HADMAN

Jasper is an emerging young travel writer and adventurer who has worked in the UK in publishing and in Iraq as a humanitarian. He has travelled extensively - making long journeys on foot, bicycles and motorbikes - which has shaped his writing. His most recent motorbike trip across the Americas - with his girlfriend, Margarita - was halted by the coronavirus. His idea of place in 2020 was continental and unrestrained and the announcement of lockdown in Ecuador caught them unprepared. ‘Place’ then became a matter of where they found themselves and with whom. His submission for PLACE 2020 was written in Ecuador.
