JONATHAN JUNIPER
Jonathan Juniper is a professional photographer who has worked all over the world, documenting a vast range of landscapes from international urban centres such as Hong Kong, Dubai, Tokyo and New York, to remote places in the UK like the Hoo Peninsula in Kent and the coastal Essex marshes. His work has featured in major broadsheets, TV programmes and exhibitions both in the U.K. and internationally. During this ongoing period of the pandemic, Jonathan has photographed people in his local landscape in Essex interacting and often meeting up for the first time in months. These images, found in his PLACE 2021 photo essay Summer of Covid, remain as a unique record of this time.
